You know what? I'm sick of all this signing in shit! I'm sick of going through some questionaire b4 doing anything. Everytime you go through some process, only to find they don't save your details. What is a URL Wishlist? what the hell is that? I just wanna blog, or I wanna upload a photo on Flickr, or a vid on Youtube, or a song on Myspace or whatever. I just wanna do it! I don't wanna be directed & cajoled into endless options, that actually don't mean anything, I signed up to Google Buzz the other night, wheres that gone? there's always something that says it'll be easier, but it never is.
Blogging seems really complicated too, before, I was sent on a wild goose chase of filling in details, only to be told that they weren't saved! what for? hadn't I done this already? The computer geeks will tell you the Internet is some machine that seems to be running itself, it can't be checked up on, why don't Myspace, Youtube etc. have call centres that you can contact if something is not working for you. They'll tell you that you don't understand the Net, if you suggest this. Bullshit! imagine how big a bank is, imagine if you lost your wallet in some far flung part of the world. After a load of hassle you can contact them and get your problem sorted. Imagine, if you phoned their call centres saying you couldn't access your money and they told you, you didn't understand global markets or something.
I feel that social networks use excuses to make themselves faceless, someone you can never reach.
Anyway, it's late & I'm tired.
